Booking

Booking Procedures

  • Bookings can be made by phone, email or fax.
  • All bookings are subject to weather conditions and Air Traffic Control requirements or restrictions.
  • All bookings will require a credit card pre-purchase approval for the value of one hour’s flying time.
  • All charters must be conducted during the day. By law, helicopter commercial passenger charter may not be conducted after dark in Australia.

Flight Requirements

  • Full names, weights and contact numbers of all passengers must be given when booking. Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requires that this information be provided before take off.
  • Luggage must be limited to soft sports-type bags due to limited storage space on board.

Accounts

  • Frequent use customers can take advantage of a credit account with Hunter Helicopter Charters.
  • All accounts are payable monthly.
  • For less frequent users, payment is required prior to flight commencement, by credit or cheque.

Postponed flights

  • Rescheduled flights will be subject to HHC’s flight schedule.
  • At least 24 hours notice must be given.

Cancellations

By the customer

  • More than one week prior – full refund.
  • Less than one week, but more than 24 hours prior - 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours - no refund.

By Hunter Helicopter Charters

  • Cancellation due to weather or any other reason - full refund or re-schedule.

As much notice as possible will be given.
